The first order of business was to check for spider webs on Annie that were linked to the dock posts or Shirean. I saw none which was very pleasing. Then it was time for coffee and posting the blog. After that I checked all my favorite marine weather apps, and saw that the weather for travel tomorrow still looks good.

I received a helpful reminder from Big Jim that I will soon be nearing the spot in Lake Erie where on the upbound trip I mistook a "big ass white bird" for a buoy. I'll have to be on full alert tomorrow to avoid a repeat of that problem!

Kerry and I had a lovely morning together. It started with a pot of tea for her at 9:00 AM. She was up! At 10:00 we took off on our bikes. We toured Russell Island which has some very big and expensive homes that we pass when pulling into Algonac Harbor Club. We chatted with several residents who did not seem to mind tourists from Ohio biking through.

Then we went to the Antique consignment store. We like that store and in the past have bought some nice items from them, but lately we have struck out, including today. So we decided to go to the grocery for a couple of last items. But we found two garage sales on the way, so had to make a big diversion. Kerry did find some items at those sales. A stop at McDonalds for an ice cream cone delayed our grocery store visit once again. Finally we made it to the grocery store and then back to Annie. One of us fried chicken and a beer for lunch while one had cold cuts and tea.

The Orro's had other activities planned for today so were unable to join us on our biking adventure.

We passed the afternoon doing two loads of laundry and taking showers. We finished up those duties in time to have a proper happy hour on Annie's upper deck. Again it was breezy and warm, but very pleasant in the bimini shade. We had a nice phone conversation with our friend Steve who is our condo president in Florida. And the swans came back and met with similar success from Kerry. The owner of Shirean came for a few minutes. He knocked down spider webs and then left.

We had dinner on Voyager. The starting time got a little confused between the boys and girls, and it started to rain just as we were setting up for a picnic. So after a not quite as planned start, we ended up with a nice dinner inside Voyager. The boys had left over ribs and Kerry had leftover pizza that Marianna warmed up on the grill. Marianna had a veggie-dog. Kerry made corn on the cob and pita bread.

We agreed that at 6:00 AM tomorrow we would be pulling out of Algonac headed for MBIYC. Fortunately the little rain that came through reduced the wind strength a lot. I was not sure I would be able to safely back out and turn if it did not calm down. Should be all good in the morning.

Jimbo offered to drive us home on Monday. That was a big relief to us and I know it will be for Anne. She was having a lot of trouble figuring out how to get us a car or home. Thanks Jimbo!
