Quite a morning of decision making. Peter came over for his cappuccino and said we have some decisions to make. He was talking about the decision as to when to travel to Bayfield. I had already looked at the weather and thought that our plan to leave early tomorrow might not work. The narrow window of light wind was in the wee hours of the morning, before we could realistically leave, and 20+ knots followed. Environment Canada has issued a high wind warning, which I always take seriously. The following picture shows how it looked to Marianna on the outside looking in.

So, after much discussion and review of weather apps and forecasts we decided that if we did not leave this morning we may not be able to travel until Thursday. We reluctantly decided to leave today. Then Marianna came over and the discussion became where would we rather be weathered in - Bayfield or Port Huron? She felt confident she could juggle the reservations in Bayfield and Kincardin as we wanted. In the end, we decided it's better to be weathered in at Port Huron so we decided to stay. Much more to do here, and staying gives me the opportunity to get my fried chicken - maybe more than once!

We had breakfast at the Raven again. We rode our bikes there while the Orros walked. We sat inside today. When we were finished with breakfast Peter and I took the bikes and hit the marine and hardware stores. Kerry and Marianna walked back to the boat via many, many shopping stops. I bought some plastic clips designed to hold our 30 amp power cord to the bow rail, neater than my Velcro fasteners. Peter bought a second collapsible hose, some canvas waterproofing and other items.

It was a slow afternoon. We had no rain which was nice. I redid some of our anchor chain markers, installed the new power cord clips and walked to the shower with Kerry. I have not been able to find my Amazon package which was delivered by the post office this morning. Apparently USPS mail goes to an address other than the marina. I still have a day or two for it to show up.

Peter and I finally got our fried chicken dinners for supper. He had the 1 pound wing dinner and I had the 1/2 chicken dinner. We both love fried chicken and this chicken is really good. The restaurant is  called Chicken In The Rough and its very famous in this area. It's only an 8 minute bike ride from here. We plan to go there one more time before we leave to get a bunch of chicken to stock our freezers. Rosemary's brownies completed our dinner.

We ate together on Annie. Marianna had a salad and Kerry ate the wing and leg of my dinner. The mates planned a shopping trip to Walmart tomorrow, a 13 minute Uber ride away. Undecided if Peter and I will go. We do plan to have our morning coffee and cappuccinos tomorrow on Voyager. Marianna bought Peter two huge cinnamon muffins to go at the Raven this morning and we plan to split one. Yum!

It started to rain fairly hard as we were finishing dinner. Fortunately Voyager's pilot house door was only about 7' from Annie's, so the Orros arrived back home dry. Hopefully the rain will end tonight. Right now it looks like Thursday will be our travel day to Bayfield. Marianna has it arranged so we could stay there Friday night too if we desire.
